Shipping Policy

Here's what to expect when you order from Happy Skin Baby. If anything's unclear, email us at [hello@happyskinbaby.com] and we'll sort it out.

The short version

  • Where we ship: United States (50 states + APO/FPO/DPO).
  • Free shipping: on orders over $50.
  • Pre-order ship window: 4–6 weeks from order date. We'll email tracking the moment it leaves the warehouse.
  • In-stock orders: 1–2 business days to process, then 5–7 business days standard delivery (or faster if you pick express at checkout).
  • Origin: sunny California.

1. Pre-Order Shipping

At launch, all items on the Site are sold on a pre-order basis. When you pre-order:

  • Your card is charged at checkout.
  • We start producing your order shortly after — exact ship date depends on your spot in the queue and our production schedule.
  • Estimated ship window is 4–6 weeks from order date, displayed on the product page and at checkout.
  • You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment your package leaves the warehouse.
  • If your order is mixed (some items in stock, some pre-order), we'll usually wait and ship the full order together unless you tell us otherwise. To split the shipment, email us within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • If we can't fulfill within a reasonable additional time after the estimated window, we'll reach out and offer a full refund — no questions asked.

2. Where We Ship

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands), and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses.

International shipping is coming — join the waitlist on our homepage if you'd like to be notified when we expand.

3. Processing Time

Pre-order items: see Section 1.

In-stock items: we process Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Most orders placed before 12pm PT ship the same business day; orders after 12pm PT or on weekends ship the next business day.

4. Shipping Methods & Rates

Rates and options shown at checkout depend on your delivery address, package weight, and the carrier's quoted price. Typical options:

  • Standard: 5–7 business days. Free over $50; otherwise calculated at checkout.
  • Express: 2–3 business days. Cost calculated at checkout.
  • Overnight / Next-Day: Available on select destinations. Cost calculated at checkout.

"Business days" means Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Delivery windows are estimates from our carrier; we don't guarantee specific delivery dates.

5. Order Tracking

You'll get an email with a tracking link as soon as your package ships. If you created an account, you can also see status under your account. If 24 hours have passed since the shipping email and the tracking number still says "label created" with no movement, the carrier likely just hasn't scanned the package yet — give it another business day, and reach out if it still hasn't moved.

6. Address Accuracy & Changes

We can't be responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Double-check your shipping address before placing the order — especially apartment numbers and zip codes.

To change a shipping address after placing an order, email us at [hello@happyskinbaby.com] as quickly as possible. We can usually update an address before the order ships, but once it's with the carrier we don't have control to redirect it.

7. Lost or Damaged Packages

Carrier-marked "Delivered" but missing: please check with neighbors, your building's office, and around your front door first. If it still hasn't surfaced after 48 hours, email us and we'll work with the carrier to investigate. We may file a lost-package claim on your behalf and, depending on the outcome, replace the order or issue a refund.

Damaged in transit: if your package arrives damaged or the contents are visibly broken, take a photo before unpacking further and email it to us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Stolen packages: we recommend signature-required delivery (selectable at checkout) for high-value orders or if you've had package theft issues at your address. We can't be responsible for packages stolen after carrier-confirmed delivery, but we'll always do what we can to help you file a claim.

8. APO/FPO/DPO & PO Boxes

Yes, we ship to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses and PO Boxes via USPS. Standard rates apply. Delivery times to military addresses can vary significantly — please allow extra time.

9. Holiday & Weather Delays

Carriers occasionally experience delays around major holidays (Black Friday through New Year's especially), severe weather, or other disruptions. We'll do our best to communicate proactively when we know about delays, but the delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and may shift due to factors beyond our control.
